NDI (Network Device Interface) is an open protocol developed by NewTek for IP transmission and live production using standard LAN networking. NDI allows networked video systems to identify and communicate with each other over IP, and encode, transmit and receive multiple streams of broadcast-quality, low-latency, frame-accurate video and audio in real time.

NDI is a set of protocols that make the sending and receiving of metadata signals over a network easier. It is the abbreviation of Network Device Interface.

What is NDI PTZ cameras? Is it useful?

NDI cameras are PTZ cameras that operate through NDI standard a standard that allows the transmission and storage of high-quality images and videos easier through a single Ethernet cable.  These devices connect to the Local Area Network (LAN) and are capable of interacting with a variety of software through the NDI.
